Sport Relief 2020
Schools Fundraising Guides

Comic Relief is a well loved charity in the UK. As part of their the Fundraising Campaign on the lead up to Sport Relief 2020, I was the lead designer for the fundraising guides for schools.

School teachers receive many fundraising guides from different charities. The challenge was to break through the clutter and create guides that catch teacher’s attention and inspire them to get their schools involved in fundraising for Sport Relief 2020.

Working closely with a copywriter and artworker, I conceptualised, designed and art directed the primary and secondary school fundraising guides for Sport Relief 2020. Each of the 2 guides followed a similar format however, needed different photography and copy for their audiences, to accompany the separate fundraising asks.

As well as designing, mocking up and presenting concepts to the schools fundraising team, I also helped art direct photoshoots with schoolchildren to ensure photography and editorial design worked together successfully. Both guides included a booklet, event posters, letters, forms, stickers and online material which was unique to school audience, whilst still feeling part of the Sport Relief brand.
